LogMeIn Pro is a remote-desktop product. It can help people access a computer left elsewhere, but it does not by itself establish a secure remote-work program. The purchase decision starts with how many host computers need unattended access, who may connect, and whether an existing managed service already provides it.

The same page describes unlimited users on its displayed plans. That does not mean unlimited simultaneously controlled computers or unlimited licensed hosts. For 10, 25 and 50 employees, no honest staff-only price can be calculated: one staff member might need access to several computers, or several staff may share one managed host. Count actual hosts and ask for a quote when the published 10-computer ceiling does not fit. The annual equivalents above are arithmetic, not negotiated contract totals.
What the product offers, and what to confirm
LogMeIn lists remote control, remote printing, multi-monitor display and LogMeIn Antivirus on its current Pro plan page. Its remote access can be useful for office applications tied to a particular machine. Before buying, verify your required host and client operating systems, file-transfer policy, session visibility, MFA options, admin roles and log retention in the exact plan. Do not assume a bundled antivirus replaces the endpoint protections, monitoring and backup you already use.

- Use named accounts and strong MFA. Confirm who can add a new host or grant another user access.
- Test from an approved and an unapproved device, including session timeout and local-screen behavior.
- Attempt file transfer and clipboard use under your proposed policy. Record where sensitive files end up.
- Revoke a pilot user and verify both LogMeIn and local computer access are removed.
- Check the logs and alerts an administrator will actually review, then document the incident-response owner.
If the requirement is access to a web app rather than a physical desktop, SSO and device policy may solve it without a remote-control subscription.
