About Valydex

Last updated: February 2026

Built from field experience. Maintained by practitioners.

Valydex started as an internal tool at iFeeltech — a structured framework for baselining client security postures before making technology recommendations. After years of use across real client environments, it became a public platform so any organisation can access a free, privacy-first security baseline without needing an IT team to interpret it.

How Valydex Started

iFeeltech has spent more than two decades helping businesses in South Florida manage IT infrastructure and cybersecurity. That work involves evaluating, testing, and deploying security tools in real environments — not reviewing them from a distance.

Over time, a consistent problem emerged in client engagements: most businesses wanted to improve their security posture but had no structured starting point. Valydex was built to solve that — an assessment framework grounded in NIST CSF 2.0 that produces a clear, prioritised picture of where an organisation stands and what to address first. After refinement across more than 100 client environments, we made it publicly available.

The guides and reviews on Valydex document the same body of work — what these tools look like in actual deployments, not what their marketing materials describe.

Editorial Process

Every guide and review on Valydex follows the same process.

01

Test

Products are evaluated in actual client deployments and the iFeeltech lab, not controlled demos.

02

Draft

Content is written from field notes: the real configuration process, the friction points, and what the output looks like in practice.

03

Peer Review

Drafts are reviewed by IT consultants and security professionals before publication.

04

Maintain

Published content is monitored for material changes and updated when pricing, features, or ownership shifts.

A Note on Content Freshness

Cybersecurity tools and SaaS products change frequently. Pricing tiers shift, features are added or removed, and products are acquired or discontinued without much notice. We monitor all published content for material changes and update articles accordingly — but we recommend verifying current pricing and specifications directly with vendors before making purchasing decisions.
